The History Of Electronic Music

I was given a rave-tape in the early 90’s.

It changed my life.

Now, I’m using a sampler to travel through time to share how the tunes on that tape came about.

The show begins 40,000 years ago, but we’ll get to 1940 in less than 5 minutes.

You will discover:
What’s the first ever instrument (that wasn’t a drum)?
Who started sampling in the 1940’s?
What was found in a Chicago pawn shop, that changed music forever?
What’s the most sampled, sample?

Find out in this comedy.

“Is it possible for an act to hold our attention for one hour straight? Yes – Vinney White did just that – weaving belly laughs with historical references of a walking, talking musical encyclopaedia!”
